When Your Loved One is Depressed and Isolating

by Neseret on July 12, 2012

Today I’m talking about a typical phenomena that happens when people experience depression.

Many people tend to isolate and keep to themselves. They withdraw socially and often cut communication with family and friends.

This is usually the time when a person needs the most support from friends and family but they may neither have the energy or desire to socialize.

When your loved one is depressed and isolating it can be a very challenging thing because you don’t know how they’re doing.

You may worry about their safety and overall functioning.

What can you do to help?

Please leave me your questions and comments below.

Hope this is helpful!

Peace, Love & Gratitude,

Dear Nadia,

Thank you for your kind and encouraging comment. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to share what I know and what has helped me in my own life with others. My hope is that it will benefit someone out there who is struggling with their health and well being. I believe our health, body-mind-spirit is the most precious thing we have in our life. Taking care to make sure we have good health is the best way to enjoy and make the most of this life experience. Wishing you health and happiness

Peace, Love & Gratitude,
